- Hey, I do agree (to a point) with your idea of upgrading, but EVERYONE
- SHOULD HAVE AN A4000 040 with WB 3.1? Come on, man!
-
- I'd love to have one of those, but I just couldn't afford it, at least
- not right now. I'm lucky that I got by with an A500 with 1 MB RAM and
- two floppy drives up until last May when I found a deal for an A3000.
- And believe it or not, I've always used my Amiga alot, even the ol' A500
- with no hard drive. Goes to show that I've enjoyed using the Amiga.
-
- To be honest, I'm glad the Amiga market is not the same as PC's...in
- the PC world every time you turn around, either your computer is
- outdated, or the version of a certain program is not compatible with the
- latest operating system, and on and on and on...blah blah blah
-
- I think the Amiga is a great computer, and I plan on using mine until
- it can't work anymore; but if every Amiga owner was forced to keep up
- with the latest technology, I'm afraid that the Amiga community would be
- much smaller than it is now.
-
- As for not complaining all the time about such-and-such a program not
- running under older versions of the OS, I agree that some people need to
- upgrade. But I still think it would be beneficial for most Amiga
- programmers to still support, at the very least, WB 2.0.
-
- That's not too much to ask, is it?
-
- Thanks for reading.
